Working On

Pet Paradise is a stop-motion animation feature film artist Hana Zhang and I are making right now.

“We want to tell a story of a world where animal characters want to do plastic surgeries, and to discuss about the widespread appearance anxiety and identity issues. By using the form of stop motion and clay puppets, we are excited to bring both fantasy and realism into the utopian world.”

About

Eugene Lee (Taiwan) is a multimedia artist who was born in Eugene, Oregon.

He received his MFA from ICP-Bard MFA Program, and a BA in Journalism from the National Chengchi University (Taiwan). Primarily working with audio-visual project and installation, Lee explores the intangibles of fleeting emotions. Through sampling various structures of daily phenomena as analogies, his works often refract the tiny yet ever-echoing impact within and beyond one's lifespan.

He’s also the co-founder of artist-run space Fluff Fluff and the member of Slow Burn Film Collective.
